Dr. Amy Petz earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physiology at Simon Fraser University, excelling both academically and as a high jumper for the university’s track and field team. Motivated by her experiences in sports, Dr. Petz pursued a Doctorate of Chiropractics at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating with honors.
Dr Petz enjoys working with patients from all walks of life. She is committed to working with her patients to identify the root cause of their pain or discomfort and develop a personalized treatment plan to address their unique needs. She achieves this through utilizing a wide range of therapies including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue treatment, Applied Kinesiology techniques, Craniosacral techniques, instrument assisted therapy, and rehabilitative exercises. What sets Dr. Petz apart is her collaborative mindset. She maximizes client recovery by leveraging the expertise of the team at Motion Pro Health, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to well-being.
In her personal time Dr. Petz is an avid outdoorswoman and can often be found hiking and backcountry camping on mountain peaks all over the world, snowboarding, and rock climbing. Through suffering her own injuries in the outdoors and athletic spaces she understands the intricacies of shoulder, wrist, ankle, and back injuries and how debilitating they can be. It is her mission to get her patients out of pain and back to their passions and doing what they love.
