Dr. Nikea Fenton graduated from the University of Saskatchewan earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology with Great Distinction. She continued on to the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic with Summa Cum Laude and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology.
As a former competitive gymnast, Dr. Nikea is aware of the physical toll that sports can have on the body and the resulting injuries. It was during these times and while being involved in a motor vehicle accident where she experienced the profound benefits of chiropractic care, thus pursuing the profession.
Dr. Nikea’s goal is not only to alleviate pain but also uncover and address the root causes of discomfort. She understands that each patient is different and provides diverse care tailored to each patient’s individualized goals. The variety of techniques Dr. Nikea uses includes manual adjustments, drop table methods, soft tissue techniques such as instrument assisted tool, cupping and myofascial release. She also incorporates patient education, stretches and rehabilitation exercises, giving each patient specialized therapy that will enable them to achieve long-term, sustainable improvements in their health.
