Jiyoon is a student at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy with a passion for human anatomy and how the body functions. Her interest in massage therapy grew from a desire to help others experience the benefits of therapeutic touch in both body and mind.
She aims to help reduce pain and promote relaxation by integrating techniques she’s learning, such as general Swedish massage, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Myofascial Release (MFR), and Golgi Tendon Organ (GTO) release. Jiyoon believes that everyone deserves to live a pain-free life and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized care for each client.
Originally from South Korea, she moved to Canada six years ago and is fluent in both English and Korean.
Outside of the clinic and school, she enjoys weightlifting and exploring the connection between movement and well-being.
